About Maker Faire Connecticut

The first official Maker Faire event in Connecticut was in Westport on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Now rebranded as Maker Faire Connecticut, the NINTH annual event will be on Sat & Sun April 18-19, 2019 at Staples High School in Westport, CT.

 

Makers of all types will converge in Westport for a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness — a celebration of the Maker movement.

 

Maker Faire Connecticut is produced by Remarkable STEAM.

 

The Maker Faire Connecticutis independently organized and operated under license from Make: Community.

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.

What is Maker Faire?
